Management AdministrationManagement Administration deals with complaints/concerns of tenants, applicants, staff and public, human resource issues, policies, confidential issues, board matters, internal reviews, reception/client services, community partnerships, and ensures overall efficiency of the operation of the Corporation in accordance with the Mission Statement. Finance AdministrationFinance Administration is responsible for processing rent and other payments, accounts receivable, accounts payable, former tenant collection, telephone services, office equipment and inventory, personnel issues, and all financial reporting matters including budgets. Applicant/Tenant Support ServicesApplicant/Tenant Support Services offers vacant KFHC units to applicants on the internal transfer list for KFHC as well as applicants who have applied for rent-geared-to-income housing through the Centralized Waiting List. (The Social Housing Registry Program). Applicant/Tenant Support Services also assists new and existing tenants in the KFHC housing community by making agency referrals, assisting with conflict resolution and social and recreational issues. Property ManagementProperty Management deals with current, former, and new tenants' leasing, rent collections, Risk Management, social issues, condition of properties, tenant groups/associations, tenant placement functions, operating budget accountability, current rent arrears, rent collection and subsidy reviews, former tenant arrears and monitoring of day-to-day maintenance. Also responsible for general condition of properties, monitoring of vacant units, snow removal, health & safety and social and recreational issues. Technical ServicesTechnical Services deals with preparation of vacant units, administration and supervision of standing contracts, day to day unit repairs, cleaning management, health and safety and Risk Management, supervision of maintenance staff, purchasing, inventory controls of materials, supplies, and equipment, fleet management, annual unit inspections, supervision administration of snow removal, building cleaning, waste management, groundskeeping, landscaping, and the Ontario Fire Code including fire safety plans. Also accountable for operating budget, vacant units and day to day maintenance. Technical Services includes capital programs, standing contracts, preventative maintenance program, modernization improvements, and fire safety contracts under a tendering process, health and safety and WHMIS. |
